Transforming a backyard into a cozy retreat was the focus of our latest project in Lehi, Utah. This sunken seating area was designed and constructed to offer both functionality and style, becoming an inviting space for family gatherings or neighborhood get-togethers.

Our team started by digging out the area to create the sunken effect, ensuring a seamless flow from the existing lawn to the new seating space. With precision, we installed built-in benches along the sunken walls, providing ample seating while maintaining a sleek look. The choice of materials was critical, balancing durability with a modern aesthetic that complements the surrounding landscape.

Adding a unique touch, a custom metal grill takes center stage in the seating space, making this not just a spot to relax, but also a lively place for barbecues and outdoor cooking. The adjacent pavers increase accessibility, guiding guests smoothly to the heart of the seating area.

Challenges included managing the slope and ensuring proper drainage to handle Utah’s weather. Through expert planning and execution, we guaranteed that this backyard haven remains a functional and beautiful part of our clients' home.
